Description

Perennial and creeping plant native to the wetlands of southern and eastern India, Australia, Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America, Bacopa monnieri belongs to the scrofulariaceae family. It is a plant with thick and fleshy leaves, with small white flowers that bloom between April and September. It grows up to 20 centimeters in height and its stem remains below the level of the water, while the leaves and flowers above. In fact, it loves to live in humid and marshy environments, near lakes, streams and water holes.
