Description

Cocoa is the product of the evergreen tree Theobroma cacao belonging to the Sterculiacee family. The tree, which is found mainly in South America, can reach 10 meters in height. It produces white flowers with pink hues from which the fruits then develop. Cocoa is obtained from the seeds found inside the fruit through various processes that can be roasting, grinding and fermentation.
