Description

The Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a shrub native to the Amazon forest, and in particular in the areas related to Peru and Brazil. This plant prefers alluvial areas so much that it grows wild along the Amazon and Ucayali rivers. It can grow to a height of 3-5 meters and produces edible, cherry-like, purple / red fruits, considered the richest natural source of Vitamin C in the world.
