Description
Garcinia cambogia is a tropical fruit, also known as the Malabar tamarind, with the appearance of a small pumpkin, whose color varies from green to pale yellow, and is only one of several hundred species of the genus Garcinia, whose origin comes from most likely from India and Southeast Asia. For centuries, Garcinia cambogia has been sold to enhance the taste of dishes and as an occasional therapeutic remedy for the treatment of certain gastrointestinal problems.
